ADEA/MouthWatch Patti DiGangi Scholarship for Hygiene Innovation
This $1,000 scholarship recognizes students who express the desire to transform oral health through leadership and innovative care delivery and is awarded to an individual who is pursuing dental hygiene at the associate, baccalaureate or master’s degree level.
ADEA/MouthWatch Predoctoral Dental Student Scholarship for Innovation
One student who has completed at least one year of an accredited predoctoral dental program in the United States or Canada and who demonstrates leadership, dedication to care and an appreciation of the role of innovation will receive $1,000.
ADEA/Crest Oral-B Laboratories Scholarships for Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers
Two $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to support dental hygiene students who are pursuing education beyond an associate degree and who have an interest in an academic career.
ADEA/Crest Oral-B Laboratories Scholarships for Predoctoral Dental Students Pursuing Academic Careers
Two $5,500 scholarships will be awarded to support predoctoral dental students who demonstrate firm commitments to becoming dental educators.
ADEA/Haleon Preventive Dentistry Scholarships
Twelve $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to support predoctoral students who have demonstrated academic excellence in preventive dentistry.
ADEA/Sigma Phi Alpha Linda DeVore Scholarship
A $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to support an individual studying allied dental education at the baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree level.
ADEA Faculty of Color Tuition Scholarships for Professional Development
The ADEA Faculty of Color Tuition Scholarships for Professional Development will enable four faculty of color in dental and allied dental education to participate in the ADEA Emerging Leaders Program by waiving the tuition fee. The 2024 ADEA Emerging Leaders Program will be held July 24–27, 2024, at the ADEA office in Washington, DC.
ADEA Leadership Institute Phase V Leadership Development Tuition Scholarship
This tuition scholarship will enable an early career faculty member (up to three years of experience) to participate in the ADEA Emerging Leaders Program by waiving the tuition fee. It is supported by the ADEA Leadership Phase V Fund. The 2024 ADEA Emerging Leaders Program will be held July 24–27, 2024, at the ADEA office in Washington, DC.
ADEA/Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Excellence in Teaching Award
This $2,500 award is designed to enhance the teaching efforts of an educator who demonstrates exemplary standards and promotes excellence in dental education through scholarship and innovation.
ADEA/Gillette Hayden Memorial Foundation/AAWD Woman Dentist Tuition Scholarship
One tuition scholarship will be awarded in 2024 to enable a woman dentist faculty member in dental education to participate in the ADEA Emerging Leaders Program. The 2024 ADEA Emerging Leaders Program will be held July 24–27, 2024, at the ADEA office in Washington, DC.
ADEA Leadership Institute Alumni Association Award to Honor Jack Bresch
This award will be presented to a current ADEA member who reflects the attitudes, values and behaviors in advocacy of dental care and dental education as exemplified by Jack Bresch.
ADEA/ADEA Council of Students, Residents and Fellows/Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Junior Faculty Award
This $2,500 award is designed to be used to enhance an outstanding junior faculty member's teaching, research or service efforts.
ADEA Enid A. Neidle Scholar-in-Residence Program
A stipend of up to $15,000 will be awarded to provide the opportunity for a dental educator to concentrate and conduct research on issues affecting women faculty and develop leadership skills.
ADEA Dr. Jeanne C. Sinkford Faculty Leadership Award
This excellence in leadership award is given to a faculty member for their outstanding advocacy for diversity, equity and inclusion, engagement in community service and championship for access to oral healthcare and health equity for underserved and disadvantaged populations. One $10,000 award will be offered in 2024.
